Who are we?
Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services is a Managing General Agency (MGA) providing comprehensive packages of insurance for individuals and organizations through licensed brokers and insurers in Canada. Echelon Insurance, Allianz Global Risks US Insurance Company, Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc, Munich RE HSB BI&I and Intact Insurance/Novex Insurance are our key suppliers.
We specialize in aviation, leisure activities, sports, recreational events, special events and festivals, non-profit directors and officers, sports accident, hole-in-one, adventure tourism, residential builders’ risks, hobby farms, watercraft and prize indemnity.
Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services has been in business since 2006 and is licensed in all provinces we do business in. We are authorized to provide you with quotes, bind coverage and issue policies. A contract with Cambrian Special Risk Insurance Services is not required. Your brokerage must be legally licensed to do business in the specific jurisdiction and your brokerage must have a current Errors & Omissions coverage in force.

Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.
Dominique has worked in the insurance industry as an underwriter, broker and adjuster for over 25 years. She joined our team in the spring of 2011 as an underwriter to support Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services as we grow across Canada. Dominique has her FCIP Designation and HBComm from Laurentian University.
Josee began her insurance career at an MGA in Ottawa, Ontario in 2002 and worked as an Errors & Omissions Underwriter for 8 years. She has been working with our sister company Cambrian Insurance since 2011. She has transferred to Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services as an underwriter in January 2013.
Jacob began his insurance career in personal lines as an Account Manager over 2 years ago, after completing his BBA degree and a commercial pilot’s license. He managed a diverse book of business while working on his CAIB designation before joining Cambrian Special Risks in 2021 and expanding into commercial lines.
