 Julio Navarro, Underwriting Director

 Julio has worked in the insurance industry for forty years.  He has owned his own brokerage and has extensive sales experience.  Along with Jim Smith, he created Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services in 2006.  Julio leads Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services and has been responsible for developing the insurance products which we wholesale.  He has an Honours Political Science/History degree, CAIB Accreditation and a
risk management background.

 Julio also has extensive sporting experience having being involved in hockey for over 30 years, along with rugby, football, lacrosse and soccer as an executive and a participant.  He was also a past owner of a Junior A Hockey Team in Northern Ontario.

 John Hart, Western Region, Business Development Officer

 John has forty-eight years of extensive insurance experience, including marketing and management.  Eleven years as a technician and thirty-seven years in sales, marketing and management.

 He has developed comprehensive programs for SBC Insurance Agencies Ltd., Sports Insurance Marketing, All Sport and Sports-Can.  John has also consulted with national, provincial and local sport governing bodies to develop user driven insurance programs.

 Kimberly Lefebvre, Underwriter

After graduating from college, Kimberly began her insurance career at an MGA in Ottawa,Ontario in 1999.  Kimberly has worked in the insurance industry for 13 years.  She was involved directly in helping with the creation and development of Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services.  She has been an underwriter for Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services since 2006.

 Dominique Walker, Underwriter

 Dominique has worked in the insurance industry as an underwriter, broker and adjuster for the past 20 years.  She joined our team in the spring of 2011 as an underwriter to support Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services as we grow across Canada.  Dominique has her CIP Designation and HBComm.

Kimberley Tarenta, Underwriter

Kimberley has been in the insurance industry since 1994, the majority of the time in the Greater Toronto Area. Kimberley has an extensive brokerage background and holds a current life license.  She joined our team in 2008 as an underwriter.

 Jim Smith

 Jim Smith has over 30 years of insurance experience as a broker and brokerage owner.  He is Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services’ Compliance Officer and is in charge of complaints and privacy issues.

CAMBRIAN SPECIAL RISKS INSURANCE SERVICES

Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services is a Managing General Agency (MGA) providing comprehensive packages of insurance to individuals, organizations and amateur sports through licensed insurers in Canada.

Effective September 2011, we expanded into Western Canada and are now licensed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.

Cambrian Special Risks Insurance Services has been in business since 2006. We are authorized to provide quotes, bind coverage and issue policies. A contract with Cambrian Special Risk Insurance Services is not required. Your brokerage must be legally licensed to do business in the specific jurisdiction and your brokerage must have a current Errors & Omissions coverage in force.
